The MAGNUM MIG 280 DUAL PULS SYNERGIA is a professional semi-automatic welding machine powered by a three-phase 400V mains with a maximum welding current of 280A. The MIG 280 welder is designed primarily for welding materials made of stainless steel and aluminum, as well as low-carbon steels, low-alloy steels, high-alloy steels, copper.

The offered device made with inverter technology, equipped with a digital display and an intuitive, easy-to-use control panel, which allows you to quickly set all the most important welding parameters. The welder has a single and double pulse function and synergic control.

AVAILABLE WELDING METHODS:
– MIG – manual settings
– MIG PULS – synergic welding with single pulsed welding current,
– MIG 2-PULS – synergic welding with double pulsed welding current,
– MMA – with covered electrodes (rutile, basic, acid).

FUNCTIONS TO MAKE WELDING EASIER:
– Inductance – optimizes the arc characteristics depending on the thickness of the material to be welded. This function is useful for MIG/MAG welding of thin workpieces – it prevents them from burning out (the thinner the workpiece, the inductance should be higher), affects the shape of the weld, its width, the depth of fusion and the amount of spatter,
– 2t double-act – pressing the button initiates the gas flow and welding current, depressing the button turns off the welding current,
– Four-bar 4t – depressing and releasing the handle button initiates gas discharge and welding current, depressing and releasing the button again turns off the welding current,
– Hot 4t – special “four-bar” mode available welding Puls MIG and MIG 2-PULS, dedicated especially to welding aluminum alloys. It allows you to set the initial current and preheat the material, taking into account the high thermal conductivity.
– Spot – spot welding, with the possibility of setting the welding time at the point, available for Puls MIG welding.
– PULS/DUAL PULS – synergic welding functions with single or double pulse, so that it is possible to obtain a high quality weld similar to the TIG method (scale effect). When welding any weldable materials, especially those made of stainless steel ( PULS function) and aluminum ( DUAL PULS function),
– Memory – the device has 10 memory channels on which the user can save and recall any settings.
– ATC function – for thin parts made of aluminum alloys advanced heat control function. The ATC function stabilizes the electric arc and reduces the peak value of the welding current, reducing the amount of heat transferred to the material. As a result, it makes welding thin aluminum parts much easier, and results in less material distortion, less overheating and a narrow heat affected zone.

The power source is built on the basis of the latest technology using IGBT transistors, which translates into reduced electromagnetic interference, low power loss, increased efficiency and reliability of the power source, and significantly affected the reduction of energy consumption.
The device has a smooth adjustment of welding parameters, is equipped with an overload thermal protection system to prevent excessive overheating. The welder is equipped with a professional 4-roller wire feeder with a “euro connector” socket allows you to connect different types of welding guns.

The welder is characterized by a wide range of applications, dedicated to all kinds of welding work in factories, industrial plants, locksmith shops, repair shops, etc.
