The Automig²-i series welders are designed for the automotive and light industry. The easy-to-machine welders for MIG/MAG welding with or without dual pulse and MIG brazing of galvanized steel sheets are equipped with Digital and Synergic control panels with pre-set programs. The DUO version welders feature easy switching between welding and brazing tasks.

FULLY DIGITAL REVOLUTION – TURN ON, PRESS AND WELD
The Automig²-i series are compact and fully digital welding machines with synergistic factory preset programs and automated functions. The machines are designed to work in modern materials used by the automotive industry and meet the growing requirements for joining materials; from steel sheets to car bodies – with or without double-pulsed current welding.
WELDERS WITH INTRODUCED BENEFITS
Automig²-i series welders are equipped with a four-roll wire feed system for precise and stable feeding. All versions of the Automig² 273i offer a reverse polarity function for welding with self-shielded (gas-free) wire.
MIG BRAZING
In addition to MIG/MAG welding, the Automig²-i series welders allow MIG brazing of galvanized steel sheets. This function maintains the material’s properties of corrosion resistance and strength, and also reduces to a minimum the need to work on the deformations of sheets and profiles created during welding. The result is economical and efficient welding.
AUTOPULSE™ WITH DUAL PULSE FOR WELDING AND SOLDERING
The Automig2 273i welder is available with an AUTOPULS™ control panel. The control panel is equipped with an advanced double pulsed current welding function (DUO Plus) providing pulsed wire feeding. This function guarantees better arc control and minimal weld spatter, which translates into maintaining the strength and surface protection of sheet metal and profiles.
BOOST TO WORK UNDER ANY MAINS VOLTAGE
All versions of the Automig² 273i and 273i DUO can be equipped with a Voltage Booster Converter (autotransformer) for welding and brazing at any voltage from single-phase or three-phase mains.
DUO VERSIONS
All versions of the Automig² are available in a DUO version that has room for two wire spools: one for MIG brazing and the other for other welding work, making it easy to switch between welding tasks without having to change hoses, wires, feeder rolls, as well as gas.
