OPTREL Helix Quattro welding visor with HardHat helmet is the world’s first visor. Automatic with an internal tilt-up self-darkening filter.
Using a unique shell design and slide-up mechanism, the welder can instantly raise and lower the filter with a convenient side knob.
The Helix visor with Hardhat helmet provides complete eye, face and head protection in harsh industrial environments.
The Helix series provides unprecedented comfort during intensive welding and grinding in a variety of positions while maintaining the excellent visibility of the Panoamaxx XXL – the ADF filter is located as close as possible to the eyes widening the viewing area by 6 times.
Each Helix visor is equipped with a one-of-a-kind extended IsoFit® headpiece, which provides the highest level of fit to the head in up to three dimensions(3D). The Helix Quattro has the highest optical classification according to EN379 of 1/1/1/1 and a wide shade range of 4 – 14 DIN, represents a reliable protection during the toughest industrial conditions even in extreme forced positions or at extreme viewing angles.
The visor has a number of proven additional features to improve daily work such as ShadeTronic® – automatic adjustment of the degree of darkening, FadeTronic – reduction of eye fatigue, Multi-Sensor-Detection – intelligent control of five sensors. Features/Abilities

• ShadeTronic® – a patented system that self-selects the shade range of 8 – 13 DIN in automatic mode (adjustable ± 2) – the visor itself adjusts the shade level in real time by measuring the intensity of the welding arc.
• Excellent visibility of the weld and surroundings from different angles and lighting conditions – the highest optical class 1/1/1/1 according to EN379.
• FadeTronic function – smooth brightening after the end of welding, from 0.1 s to 2 s – this solution prevents eye fatigue,

• It is powered by solar cells and an additional lithium-polymer battery, with USB charging.
• Photovoltaic cell – Under normal operating conditions, there is no need to charge the battery – the radiant energy of the welding arc is used.
