PATON\u2122 PSI 270 STANDARD DC 400V <\/strong> Digital Inverter Welder is designed for semi-automatic arc welding in MIG\/MAG<\/strong> method, gas shielded arc welding in TIG<\/strong> method and manual arc welding with covered electrode MMA<\/strong>, direct current (DC) with the possibility of using the PULSE function.<\/p>\n

“Standard”<\/strong> series devices are dedicated to domestic and semi-industrial use. The PATON PSI 270 Standard provides a 55% duty cycle at the full rated current of 270A without any loss of productivity or work quality. It is also worth mentioning that the welder achieves a 100% duty cycle for 180A current. <\/strong>Robust construction and simplicity of operation make working with the device trouble-free – easy settings allow to achieve excellent weld quality. The use of a completely electronic control method in this series excludes the disadvantages that are characteristic of multifunctional systems. The welding source is set to optimal values, which allows you to start working with it right away, even for beginners. For more advanced work, the device is equipped with additional functions. A distinctive feature of the PATON\u2122 Standard series<\/strong> semi-automatic welding machines is the high-quality wire feeder, which has been additionally sealed, as well as the existing KZ-2 “EURO”<\/strong> type integrated connector, which has become a standard worldwide, allowing the user to choose any MIG\/MAG holder<\/strong> according to his preferences. <\/p>\n

WELDING FUNCTION WITHOUT GAS – SELF-SHIELD WELDWELDWELDING<\/strong>
\nAll PATON mig machines are equipped for welding with self-shielding wire. Such welding, unlike the traditional MIG\/MAG welding process, is carried out without the use of shielding gas – but this requires a special welding wire. Such wire produces its own shielding, which helps protect the welding arc. <\/p>\n

SOLDERING – INDUCTANCE CONTROL<\/strong><\/p>\n

Paton MIGOMATS of the Standard and PRO series<\/strong> have the possibility of soldering, thanks to the function of changing the inductance in three stages. The inductance control allows to optimize the arc characteristics depending on the thickness of the component to be welded. This function is necessary to change the speed of current flow when changing the arc voltage. The thinner the component to be welded with MIG\/MAG, the inductance should be higher (soft arc – less fusion), for thick components vice versa (hard arc – more fusion). <\/p>\n

PULSE FUNCTION IN ALL METHODS<\/strong><\/p>\n

– PULSE in the TIG method<\/strong> – full control of the heat introduced into the material – a great feature for welding stainless steel and acid-resistant steel,<\/p>\n

– PULSE in the MMA method<\/strong> – easier transfer of material from the electrode to the welding pool, better quality of the welded joint,<\/p>\n

– PULSE in the MIG\/MAG method<\/strong> – easier detachment of metal droplets from the end of the electrode wire, the possibility of adjusting the parameters of pulsating current. MIG welding with pulsation is useful for welding stainless steels, acid-resistant steels and aluminum alloys. In addition, pulse welding provides better parameters for soldering CuSi3 <\/p>\n

NEW QUALITY OF STANDARD SERIES<\/strong><\/p>\n

Unlike the rest of the Standard Series, the PATON PSI 270 400V<\/strong> welder has a 55% duty cycle at its rated current of 270A. In addition, the wire feeder built into the welder allows the installation of a large, 15 kilogram wire spool – unlike the other STN series units that only handle spools of up to 5 kilograms. <\/p>\n
