PROGYS 183E is an advanced single-phase inverter MMA (Manual Metal Arc) and TIG Lift Arc welder. It is a versatile device powered by 230V and protected by a 16A fuse. It offers adjustable welding current in the range of 10 to 180 amperes, which allows welding a variety of materials with electrodes from 1.6 to 4 mm in diameter (MMA) and precision TIG DC welding with rubbing ignition (additional TIG holder with gas valve required). <\/p>\n
The PROGYS 183E features advanced inverter technology with digital control, providing excellent welding performance and a stable arc in both MMA and TIG modes.<\/p>\n
The welder is equipped with a number of advanced features to facilitate MMA welding:<\/p>\n
Adjustable Hot Start: Facilitates arc ignition, with the ability to precisely adjust to the type of electrode and material being welded.
\nAdjustable Arclace: Allows optimization of arc dynamics, providing better penetration and preventing electrode sticking.
\nAnti-Sticking: Automatically reduces welding current in the event of electrode sticking, making it easier to detach the electrode.
\nPulsed MMA: Allows welding with pulsed current, which is particularly useful for welding thin materials and in forced positions, improving control over the weld pool and reducing the risk of burn-through.
\nIn TIG Lift Arc mode, the PROGYS 183E offers precision welding of carbon steel, stainless steel and other non-ferrous metals. The arc is engaged by gently rubbing the electrode against the material to be welded, which minimizes the risk of contaminating the weld. The welder also features Gas Post Flow, which allows the shielding gas to flow out after welding, protecting the weld from oxidation and cooling the electrode. <\/p>\n
PROGYS 183E has an easy-to-read digital control panel, allowing precise adjustment of all welding parameters. It is protected against overvoltage up to 400V (PROTEC 400) and suitable for generator operation (+\/- 15%). In addition, it features a reinforced housing design with cushioned corners, providing greater resistance to mechanical damage in harsh working conditions. <\/p>\n
The kit usually includes a ground wire with clamp and an electrode holder for MMA welding. The TIG holder and other TIG welding accessories are usually available separately.
