PROGYS 400 TRI is a professional three-phase (400V) inverter MMA (Manual Metal Arc) and TIG Lift Arc welder, supplied without standard welding accessories. It is a high-performance unit designed for intensive welding applications in industry, shipyards, mines and other demanding environments. It offers a wide range of welding current adjustment from 20 to 400 amps for both MMA and TIG, allowing welding of a wide variety of materials with electrodes up to 6 mm in diameter (MMA) and precision TIG DC welding with friction ignition (additional TIG holder with gas valve required).
PROGYS 400 TRI features advanced inverter technology with digital control, providing excellent welding properties and a stable arc. The welder’s robust design is suitable for use in harsh industrial environments.
The welder is equipped with a number of advanced features to facilitate MMA welding:
Adjustable Hot Start: Facilitates arc ignition, with the ability to precisely adjust to the type of electrode and material being welded.
Adjustable Arclace: Allows optimization of arc dynamics, providing better penetration and preventing electrode sticking.
Anti-Sticking: Automatically reduces welding current in the event of electrode sticking, making it easier to detach the electrode.
Pulsed MMA: Enables welding with pulsed current, which is particularly useful for welding thin materials and in forced positions, improving control over the weld pool and reducing the risk of burn-through.
In TIG Lift Arc mode, the PROGYS 400 TRI offers precision welding of carbon steel, stainless steel and other non-ferrous metals. The arc is engaged by gently rubbing the electrode against the material to be welded. The welder also features Gas Post Flow, which allows the shielding gas to flow out after welding, protecting the weld from oxidation and cooling the electrode.
PROGYS 400 TRI has an easy-to-read digital control panel, allowing precise adjustment of all welding parameters. It is characterized by a robust design suitable for intensive work in industrial conditions.
In this variant, the product is supplied without standard welding accessories, such as electrode holder, ground wire and gas hose. This is an option for users who already have their own accessories or want to select them individually for specific needs.
