GYS PROTIG 231 DC FV is an ultra-compact and portable single-phase (230V) inverter welding machine for professional DC TIG welding with two arc ignition modes: HF (non-contact) and Lift Arc (contact). In addition, it allows MMA (Manual Metal Arc) welding with PULS function.
A key feature of this model is FV (Flexible Voltage) and PFC (Power Factor Correction) technology. FV technology allows the welder to operate over a wide range of supply voltages from 85V to 265V, making it ideal for use in a variety of locations with unstable power supplies and long extension cords (up to 100m). PFC optimizes power consumption, making the device more energy efficient and less susceptible to voltage drops.
The welder offers a maximum welding current of 230 amperes, which provides great versatility. This kit includes a set of necessary accessories to get you started right away.

DC TIG welding: High quality welds on carbon steel, stainless steel, copper and its alloys.
Two types of TIG ignition:
HF (High Frequency): Non-contact arc ignition, ideal for precision work and avoiding contamination.
Lift Arc: Occlusion by touching the tungsten electrode to the material to be welded, recommended in environments sensitive to electromagnetic interference.
Gas Post Flow Function: Adjustable gas post flow time protects the weld from oxidation and cools the electrode.
