GYS KRONOS 400T W is an extremely powerful, three-phase (400V) inverter multiprocess welder designed for the most intensive MIG/MAG, MMA (shielded electrode) and TIG Lift welding. It is a top-performance machine, designed for professional industrial applications, heavy welding work and prolonged duty cycles in the toughest conditions.

The welder offers an impressive maximum welding current of 400 amperes (for MIG/MAG) and features an advanced, intuitive control panel with precise adjustment of all welding parameters. In MIG/MAG mode, it features extensive adjustment of welding voltage, wire feed speed and an advanced synergy function with numerous programs tailored to different materials, gases and thicknesses. It also offers manual adjustment of synergy parameters. In MMA mode, it has adjustable Hot Start, Arclace and Anti-Sticking, as well as advanced MMA Pulse with full adjustment. TIG Lift mode allows direct current (DC) welding with friction ignition. The KRONOS 400T W can weld carbon steel, stainless steel and minium (MIG/MAG and TIG – requires a suitable TIG holder and shielding gas). It is equipped with an interface for connecting an external wire feeder.

The additional “W” in the name of this model suggests that an external wire feeder (called “”) is included. This is used in professional applications, allowing the wire feeder to be moved away from the power source, which is especially useful when welding large structures or in hard-to-reach areas.
