The user has a choice of four waveforms: rectangular (for fast welding with good penetration), sinusoidal (for a quieter and softer arc), triangular (for reduced heat input in thin materials) and trapezoidal (for good wetting and pool control).
In addition, precise adjustment of the EN/EP balance (ratio of negative to positive half-wave duration) allows optimum cleaning of the oxide layer while ensuring proper fusion depth.
