The technology is based on the “one pulse – one drop” principle, which guarantees perfect control of metal transfer into the weld pool.
The result is minimal heat input (HI), reduced distortion, an excellent TIG-like weld face appearance and deeper fusion with less risk of burn-through. PulsDrive provides exceptional arc control and an excellent weld finish with no spatter.

QuickPulse is an innovative combination of the advantages of the RapiDeep (deep penetration) and PulsDrive (pulse precision) processes from Böhler Welding. This advanced MIG/MAG process allows significantly higher welding speeds – up to 50% faster compared to standard pulse welding.
With its concentrated arc, QuickPulse provides deep penetration with low linear heat input (Heat Input). This results in less material distortion, a narrower heat affected zone and excellent weld quality, especially when welding stainless steels and aluminum.

CladPulse is a specialized MIG/MAG pulsed process developed by Böhler Welding for surfacing (cladding) applications. Its main objective is to produce a surfacing layer with a tightly controlled, low dilution (degree of mixing with the parent material), which is crucial to maintaining the properties of the material being surfaced.
The process features a soft, stable arc and controlled heat input, which minimizes distortion and allows the desired surfacing properties to be achieved often in just one layer. CladPulse provides high productivity and excellent surfacing quality, reducing material costs and labor time.

RapiDeep is an innovative MIG/MAG welding process from Böhler Welding designed to maximize productivity and quality. It features an extremely concentrated and stable arc that provides deeper weld penetration while reducing the bevel angle of the sheet metal. This reduces the amount of filler metal required.
A key benefit of RapiDeep is its ability to increase welding speeds by up to 50% compared to traditional MIG/MAG methods, while reducing linear heat input (HI). This results in less distortion, a narrower heat affected zone and excellent joint quality, especially when welding structural steels.

The Double Pulse function of the Böhler Welding URANOS NX PME is an advanced welding current modulation that produces welds with exceptional aesthetics, reminiscent of a scaled TIG AC weld, especially when welding aluminum and stainless steel. Two levels of pulsation – one for pond control and the other for face shaping – provide excellent control over the process.
Double Pulse reduces heat introduction, which is beneficial when welding thin materials, minimizing distortion and the risk of burn-through. It also provides better edge wetting and smoother weld transitions.

The Böhler Arc system is an extensive library of up to 600 precisely defined synergy programs optimized for Böhler Welding materials. After selecting the type of material, wire diameter and shielding gas, the device automatically selects the optimal welding parameters. The user adjusts only the wire feed speed (or welding current), and the rest of the parameters (voltage, arc dynamics) are adjusted synergistically.

The myNX function is an advanced personalization tool for Böhler Welding’s NX series welding equipment. It allows the user to customize the interface, hardware configuration and available welding programs and functions to suit individual needs and specific workflows.
With myNX, you can create user profiles with limited access to settings, save your own optimized welding programs (JOBs) and update the device software. This translates into greater efficiency, standardization of processes and easier management of the company’s fleet of welding machines.
