TERRA 180 TLH is an easy-to-use and reliable single-phase DC TIG and electrode welding machine. The use of inverter technology resulted in a compact device with low weight and size. Microprocessor control of the welding process – current parameters was used. Thanks to its ergonomic shape and light weight – one of the smallest in its category – TERRA 180 TLH welders are handy, versatile and mobile. TERRA 180 TLH is the ideal welder for jobs that require precision, versatility and considerable mobility, such as welding work in the food, energy, chemical and shipbuilding industries, as well as all maintenance and repair work.
EASY TO USE
A new control panel has been developed for the TERRA 180 TLH that combines simplicity and intuitiveness with all the technological solutions designed for the professional welder. All welding parameters can be set with a two-function knob. With the buttons on the left side of the panel, the operator can select both the welding process and the operating mode of the TIG handle. In addition, the panel allows setting the type of TIG welding current (steady, pulse or fast pulse). In MMA mode, one can choose from numerous welding programs for standard and special electrodes.
ADVANCED SOLUTIONS
The company (vaBW) has selected materials and solutions that are best suited to the working environment:
” front panels made of PBT plastic, characterized by high mechanical resistance (impact resistance) and resistance to high temperatures and flames (self-extinguishing);
” aluminum housing to ensure, corrosion resistance and light weight;
” ergonomic, rigid handle for easy handling;
” rounded shape for better visibility and control panel protection.
” 50/70 mm² dinse standard connector.
CAN BUS COMMUNICATION
The TERRA 180 TLH welder has a CAN BUS communication bus that enables secure and fast (500 kbps) transmission of the data contained in the system, which in turn makes it easy to update and adjust the parameters of the device.

The TERRA 180 TLH welder can be supplemented with accessories that further enhance its capabilities, such as remote control components.
In order to enable users to take full advantage of all the possibilities of TIG welding (e.g., adjustable welding current and much more), the 1000 series TIG st chucks have been designed and manufactured, which are ideal for using this method due to their precision and robustness. The TERRA 180 TLH welder can be equipped with both a single-switch (st) handle and an Up & Down (st u/d) version.
