COMPLETE MIG/MAG SYSTEM
PMC welders can be used for welding by methods: MIG/MAG (GMAW), MIG/MAG with pulsed current (GMAW-P), TIG DC Lift and electrode (MMA-SMAW).
In MIG/MAG mode, the welder’s electronic control system regulates all welding parameters synergistically.
ADVANCED TECHNOLOGY AND HIGH PERFORMANCE
URANOS 2700 PMC welders are equipped with more advanced control systems developed and patented to provide excellent
performance. The control of the welder is completely digital, from the DSP (Digital Signal Processor).
The device uses greenWave® technology, which provides power consumption at a high power factor from the AC grid, increasing output power
and reducing consumption and impact on the power grid.
INTELLIGENT Arc
The main element that determines the innovative character of the URANOS series is the new DDWC® digital control system with high power and high computing speed.
Thanks to it, the system is able to react extremely quickly to a change in working conditions, recalculate and optimally adjust all parameters, allowing you to get
a “smart” arc that automatically constantly adapts to the conditions so as to ensure the highest quality of the welding process. You will believe it when you see it in action….
BUILT IN DRUG FEEDER
The welding wire feeder is built into the welder and is based on a two-roller drive (upgradable to a four-roller drive). A built-in optical encoder controls the wire feed speed in real time and keeps it constant during welding.
The URANOS PMC welder is equipped with an iPanel series control panel, with a large and easy-to-read 3.5″ display and an extremely easy-to-use interface, unique in its field of application. The new control panel with convenient and functional buttons and dial allows setting all welding parameters. In addition, from the standard screen (XE) you can switch to the advanced (XA) and professional (XP) setting screens, depending on your specific and complex needs.
MIG/MAG WELDING SUITABLE IN ANY SITUATION
Under any operating conditions, one of more than 60 preloaded synergy welding programs can be recalled on the panel.
Using these synergy curves, the welder’s control system automatically adjusts all welding parameters, after setting the data of wire material, diameter and type of gas used, so as to ensure high productivity in MIG/MAG welding, while maintaining excellent process quality. In addition, the panel provides the possibility of displaying a screen with detailed information (thickness of the part to be welded, dimensions of the angle joint, etc.), which can be useful for improving the welding process
ADAPTING WELDING PROGRAMS
All settings selected during welding can be easily stored in memory under a user-selected name so that they can be quickly recalled either from the welder or from the remote control. In this way, you can create your own archive of welding programs tailored to a variety of situations. The technical service is constantly expanding its experience and is able to offer appropriate solutions, taking into account the special needs of customers.
ADVANCED SOLUTIONS
URANOS PMC welders are part of the greenWave® range, designed to save energy in accordance with EN 61000-3-12 and ensure greater social responsibility towards the environment. URANOS PMC models incorporate U.P.F.R. technology for power factor correction, which provides the highest performance with low mains power consumption, and can be connected to the Weld@Net system for complete and efficient management of the welding process using several welders simultaneously.
COOLING UNIT
WU 230/WU 232
Complementing the URANOS 2700 PMC welder is the new WU 230/WU 232 cooling unit equipped with a centrifugal pump and pressure switch. The welder controls the operation of the cooling unit according to the required cooling level. Coolant connections are available at both the front and rear of the unit.
CAN BUS COMMUNICATION
In addition, the chip is designed to be fully immune to electromagnetic interference, so as to enable secure and fast (500 kbps) transmission of the data contained in the system, as well as updating/adjusting device parameters and performing device diagnostics.
