EasyArc (TIG DC) is an innovative, simplified TIG DC welding process that integrates more than 12 functions into a single, easy-to-set parameter. This allows the welder to quickly achieve optimal results without having to manually adjust many variables. EasyArc (TIG DC) reduces the heat affected zone (HAZ) by up to 30% and increases welding speed by 50-90%, making it ideal for less experienced operators and for fast repetitive tasks.

AcDrive is the foundation of precision alternating current (AC) TIG welding at Böhler Welding. This digitally controlled process ensures a stable arc and effective oxide cleaning from aluminum and magnesium surfaces, which is crucial for clean and robust welds. AcDrive enables precise control of arc energy, ensuring optimal performance for different material thicknesses.

The AcPulse process in TIG AC welding offers the advantages of AC pulsation, such as better control over the weld pool, reduced heat input and the ability to weld thin aluminum parts without the risk of burn-through. AC pulsation also allows for an aesthetically pleasing weld appearance and more efficient welding in difficult positions, providing excellent joint quality on aluminum and magnesium alloys.

MixAC is an advanced TIG process that combines the advantages of alternating current (AC) and direct current (DC) in a single welding cycle. The AC component provides effective oxide cleaning, while the DC component guarantees deeper penetration and faster welding speed. MixAC allows for an increase in aluminum welding productivity by up to 30-50%, deeper penetration and better arc control, especially with thicker materials.

EasyArc (TIG AC) is a specially developed, simplified process for welding aluminum and its alloys. Like the DC version, EasyArc (TIG AC) automatically optimizes key AC welding parameters (such as balance and frequency), making it easier for even less experienced welders to achieve high-quality welds. The process speeds up preparation and ensures repeatable results when welding aluminum.

The Böhler Arc TIG system offers an extensive library of synergy programs for TIG welding. After selecting the type of material, shielding gas and electrode diameter, the device automatically selects the optimal welding parameters.
