DCPulse is an advanced pulsed direct current (DC) TIG welding process that offers the welder precise control over the energy introduced into the weld pool. Pulsed current allows welding of thin materials without the risk of burn-through, improves fusion control, especially in forced positions, and reduces thermal distortion of the material. DCPulse produces aesthetically pleasing welds with a fine grain face and is ideal for welding stainless steel where heat control is critical.

FastPulse is an innovative DC TIG process with high-frequency pulsation, reaching up to 2,500 Hz. This pulsation frequency leads to maximum arc focusing and stabilization, resulting in a narrower heat affected zone (SWC) and an increase in welding speed of up to 65-90% compared to standard TIG DC welding. FastPulse is ideal for applications requiring high precision, minimal distortion and high productivity, such as welding thin stainless steel sheets.

EasyArc (TIG DC) is a simplified yet highly efficient TIG DC welding process. By integrating more than 12 functions into a single, synergistic setting, the welder can focus on guiding the arc rather than on complex parameter adjustments. EasyArc provides a reduction in the heat affected zone (HAZ) of about 30% and a 50-90% increase in welding speed over traditional methods. It’s the perfect solution for increasing productivity while maintaining superior weld quality.

AcDrive is the primary digitally controlled alternating current (AC) TIG welding process on URANOS NX AC/DC equipment. It provides a stable arc and effective oxide cleaning when welding aluminum, magnesium and their alloys. Precise control of AC balance and frequency allows optimization of penetration and weld width, which is key to achieving high-quality joints in aluminum materials.

AcPulse is a pulsed alternating current (AC) TIG welding process that significantly improves control over the welding process of aluminum and its alloys, especially in thin materials and forced positions. Pulsed AC current allows for a reduction in line energy, which minimizes distortion and the risk of burn-through. It enables aesthetic welds with a regular face and better control over the weld pool, which is especially important when welding demanding aluminum structures.

MixAC is an innovative TIG process that combines the advantages of alternating current (AC) and direct negative polarity (DC-) welding. In a single cycle, the welding current switches between AC (which provides oxide cleaning) and DC- (which guarantees deeper penetration and faster welding speed). The result is a significant increase in aluminum welding speed (up to 30-50%) compared to traditional AC TIG, while maintaining excellent weld appearance and reduced tungsten electrode wear. Ideal for welding thicker sections of aluminum.

EasyArc (TIG AC) simplifies the welding of aluminum and its alloys by offering synergistic parameter settings for AC. Like the DC version, EasyArc AC integrates key features, allowing for faster start times and easier optimal results, even for less experienced operators. It provides a stable arc, effective cleaning and good penetration, resulting in high quality aluminum welds and increased productivity.

The URANOS NX 4000AC/DC offers advanced AC Wave Form control, allowing you to choose between Rectangular, Sine, Triangle and Mixed waveforms. Each waveform has different characteristics and affects the arc characteristics:
* Rectangular: provides a stable arc and good dynamics, ideal for most applications.
* Sinusoidal: offers a softer, quieter arc, preferred for welding thin materials.
* Triangular: reduces line energy while maintaining good penetration, useful for very thin parts.
