Description

The MB 240D 5.00m ERGO is a liquid-cooled MIG/MAG welding chuck from ABICOR BINZEL. It is a robust and powerful chuck with an ergonomic “Ergo” handle for comfort and control even during prolonged welding with high currents. The liquid-cooling system allows it to achieve higher load capacity compared to gas-cooled chucks of similar size. It is equipped with a ball joint. The chuck has a load capacity of up to 300 A for CO2 and up to 270 A for gas mixtures at 100% duty cycle (thanks to liquid cooling). It is designed for wires with a diameter of 0.8 – 1.6 mm. The length of the holder is 5 meters. The letter “D” in the model name often just stands for liquid cooling.
