Description
Fronius TPS 2700 CMT – advanced MIG/MAG welder with Cold Metal Transfer technology
The Fronius TPS 2700 CMT is a professional MIG/MAG welder that enables precise and efficient welding of various materials, including steel and aluminum, thanks to Cold Metal Transfer (CMT) technology. Low heat input and an extremely stable arc distinguish CMT from traditional MIG/MAG welding methods.
Key features and technologies
- Cold Metal Transfer (CMT) – a welding process with minimal heat input, ideal for joining thin sheets and materials with different thermal conductivities, such as steel and aluminum.
- Synergy – automatically adjusts welding parameters to the selected material and wire diameter for easy setup and optimal results.
- Pulsed welding – a function that enables precise welding of materials such as aluminum, copper or stainless steel, reducing spatter and ensuring high quality welds.
- Liquid cooling – the liquid cooling system ensures efficient heat dissipation, which increases the life of the device and allows it to work longer without interruption.
- Compact size – the ergonomic and compact design makes it easy to transport and integrate the device into various work environments.

Previous owner’s history
Jan, the owner of a small locksmith shop, was looking for a solution to weld thin sheets without deforming the material. Traditional welding methods often led to overheating and deformation. After investing in a Fronius TPS 2700 CMT, Jan noticed a significant improvement in weld quality. CMT technology made it possible to join different materials with minimal heat introduction, eliminating the problem of deformation. Thanks to digital process control and the ability to save settings, work became more efficient, and preparation time for welding was reduced. After several years of trouble-free operation, Jan decided to expand the machine park, leaving the TPS 2700 CMT in excellent condition for the next user.
