The GYS GALAXY 400T GW is an advanced three-phase (400V) inverter multiprocess current source with built-in liquid cooling and an external 4-roll wire feeder, designed for professional MIG/MAG (pulse), MMA (shielded electrode) and TIG Lift (pulse) welding applications. It is a versatile device that offers precise control of welding energy to minimize dedlamation and ensure high quality welds, especially when welding thin minium and stainless steel under heavy use and at longer distances from the power source. An external wire feeder (often model WF 40 or similar) ensures stable and precise wire feeding even with long MIG/MAG holders. A built-in liquid cooling system allows for prolonged operation at high currents without overheating the chuck. The pulse synergy function increases welding speed and reduces spatter.
The GALAXY 400T GW offers four MIG/MAG welding modes: Standard, Pulsation, ModulArc (optimal to minium) and Manual. It features digital arc control with instant ignition and no crater at the end of the weld. The Arc Pulse function increases welding speed up to 30%. The external wire feeder has its own control panel with digital encoder.
The current source has two display modes (simple and expert) and an intuitive, multilingual 3.5-inch HMI. It offers more than 35 synergies for different materials (steel, AlMg, AlSi, CrNi, CuSi). Software and synergy updates are available via USB. The device’s memory allows for the storage of up to 200 welding programs. A settings transfer function allows saving and importing configurations and programs via USB. The device allows weld tracking in accordance with EN 3834 and has a welding accessory calibration mode and a user mode.
Important: The “WITHOUT ACCESSORIES” version means that the kit contains only the GALAXY 400T GW power source with built-in liquid cooling and external wire feeder and connecting cable, but does not include any additional items such as welding grips (MIG/MAG, MMA, TIG), ground wire, electrode cables, wire feed rollers (for the feeder), gas hoses or other accessories. This also applies to the liquid-cooled MIG/MAG chuck and coolant, which must be purchased separately.
