GYS KRONOS 400T DUO is an extremely powerful, three-phase (400V) inverter multiprocess welder designed for the most intensive MIG/MAG, MMA (shielded electrode) and TIG Lift welding. A unique feature of this model is the dual integrated wire feeder, which allows quick switching between two different welding wires (e.g. different diameters, materials or wire types). It is a top-performance device designed for professional industrial applications, heavy welding work and prolonged duty cycles in the toughest conditions, where high flexibility in the welding materials used is required.
The welder offers an impressive maximum welding current of 400 amps (for MIG/MAG) and features an advanced, intuitive control panel with the ability to precisely adjust all welding parameters for each feeder separately. In MIG/MAG mode, it has extensive adjustment of welding voltage, wire feed speed and an advanced synergy function with numerous programs tailored to different materials, gases and thicknesses for each feeder. It also offers manual adjustment of synergy parameters. In MMA mode, it features adjustable Hot Start, Arclace and Anti-Sticking, as well as advanced MMA Pulse with full adjustment. TIG Lift mode allows direct current (DC) welding with friction ignition. The KRONOS 400T DUO can weld carbon steel, stainless steel and minium (MIG/MAG and TIG – requires a suitable TIG holder and shielding gas). It is equipped with two 4-roll wire feeders for reliable and stable feeding for two different wires.
Important: The “NO” version means that the kit does not include any welding accessories such as MIG/MAG holder, MMA electrode holder, ground wire, wire feed rollers or gas hose. All these items must be purchased separately. This includes the two MIG/MAG chucks that would be needed to take full advantage of the dual feeder’s capabilities.
