GYS KRONOS 400T GW is an extremely powerful, three-phase (400V) inverter multiprocess welder designed for the most intensive MIG/MAG, MMA (shielded electrode) and TIG Lift welding. It is a top-performance machine, designed for professional industrial applications, heavy welding work and prolonged duty cycles in the toughest conditions.
The welder offers an impressive maximum welding current of 400 amperes (for MIG/MAG) and features an advanced, intuitive control panel with precise adjustment of all welding parameters. In MIG/MAG mode, it features extensive adjustment of welding voltage, wire feed speed and an advanced synergy function with numerous programs tailored to different materials, gases and thicknesses. It also offers manual adjustment of synergy parameters. In MMA mode, it has adjustable Hot Start and Arclace, as well as a Puls MMA function. TIG Lift mode allows direct current (DC) welding with friction ignition. The KRONOS 400T GW can weld carbon steel, stainless steel and minium (MIG/MAG and TIG – requires a suitable TIG holder and shielding gas). It is equipped with an interface for connecting an external wire feeder and an integrated liquid cooling system.
The additional “GW” designation in the name of this model means that the welder has a built-in liquid cooling system for the welding chuck. This is crucial when welding with high currents for long periods of time, preventing the handle from overheating and increasing the welder’s comdlat. This model is designed to work with an external wire feeder (optional WF 35 – part number 075078).
Important: The “NO” version means that the kit does not include any welding accessories such as MIG/MAG holder, MMA electrode holder, ground wire, wire feed rollers or gas hose. It also does not include an external wire feeder or cables connecting the feeder to the power source. All these components must be purchased separately.
