GYS KRYPTON 231 DC FV is a compact and versatile inverter welding machine, single-phase (230V), designed for professional TIG DC (Tungsten Inert Gas) welding with two types of arc ignition: HF (non-contact) and Lift Arc (contact), as well as for MMA (Manual Metal Arc) welding.
Like the PROTIG FV series, the KRYPTON 231 DC FV model is equipped with FV (Flexible Voltage) technology, allowing it to operate over a wide range of supply voltages from 85V to 265V. This makes the welder ideal for use in various locations with unstable power supplies and long extension cords. In addition, it has PFC (Power Factor Correction), which optimizes power consumption and increases resistance to voltage fluctuations.
The welder offers a maximum welding current of 230 amperes. The “no accessory” version means that only the welder itself is included, without the TIG handle, MMA handle, ground wire and other welding essentials.
