The PROGYS 230E FV CEL is an advanced single-phase inverter MMA (Manual Metal Arc) and TIG Lift Arc welder with Flexible Voltage (FV) function and specially optimized for welding with cellulose electrodes. The FV function automatically adjusts to power supply voltages ranging from 85 to 265 volts, providing versatility and the ability to work in a variety of power conditions, including long extension cords and generators. The welder is protected by a 16A (at 230V) or 32A (at 110V) fuse. It offers adjustable welding current from 10 to 230 amps (MMA) and 10 to 230 amps (TIG), allowing welding of a wide variety of materials with electrodes from 1.6 to 5 mm in diameter (including rutile, alkaline, cellulose and mini electrodes), as well as precision DC TIG welding with rubbing ignition (additional TIG holder with gas valve required).

The PROGYS 230E FV CEL features advanced inverter technology with digital control, providing excellent welding properties and a stable arc, especially when welding with cellulose electrodes. It has an easy-to-read digital control panel with a touchscreen interface and display, allowing precise setting of welding parameters.

The welder offers advanced features to facilitate MMA welding:

Adjustable Hot Start: Facilitates arc ignition, adaptable to the type of material being welded.
Adjustable Arc dlace: Stabilizes the welding arc for better penetration and to prevent electrode sticking.
Anti-Sticking: Prevents the electrode from sticking to the material being welded.
Pulsed MMA: Allows welding with pulsed current, which is useful for welding thin materials and in forced positions.
In TIG Lift Arc mode, the PROGYS 230E FV CEL allows precision welding of thin steel and stainless steel materials. The arc is engaged by gently rubbing the electrode against the material to be welded, which minimizes the risk of contaminating the weld. The welder also has an automatic arc extinction (Downslope) function with time control to prevent craters at the end of the TIG weld.

The welder is equipped with a PFC (Power Factor Correction) function, which reduces power consumption and allows operation with long extension cords (up to 100m) and generators. It also has surge protection up to 400V (PROTEC 400).

In this variant, the product is supplied without standard welding accessories, such as electrode holder and ground wire. This is an option for users who already have their own accessories or want to select them individually.
