GYS PROTIG 160 DC LIFT is a compact and portable inverter welder designed for precision TIG DC welding with Lift Arc ignition and MMA (Manual Metal Arc) welding. It is a single-phase device (230V) offering a maximum welding current of 160 amperes. The kit includes the necessary accessories to get started.

Key features of the PROTIG 160 DC LIFT welder:

DC TIG Welding: Provides high quality welds on carbon steel, stainless steel, copper and its alloys.
Lift Arc Occlusion: Allows the TIG arc to be struck by touching the tungsten electrode to the material being welded, minimizing the risk of contamination.
Gas Post Flow Function: Protects the weld from oxidation after welding. The gas post flow time is automatically adjusted.
MMA welding: Allows welding with covered electrodes up to 4 mm in diameter (rutile, alkaline, stainless, cast iron).
MMA support functions:
Hot Start (adjustable): Facilitates arc ignition.
Arclace (adjustable): Stabilizes the arc and prevents electrode sticking.
Anti-Sticking: Prevents the electrode from sticking to the material to be welded.
Compact and lightweight design: Makes it easy to transport and work in various locations.
Simple control panel: Intuitive adjustment of welding parameters.
Generator compatibility: The device can be powered by a generator.
Overvoltage protection: Up to 400V thanks to PROTEC 400 technology.
