PRAKTIK 220 LCD SYNERGY is an inverter welder for MMA welding by direct current (DC) covered electrode and TIG welding by direct current (DC) with short-circuit arc ignition. Allows welding with rutile, alkaline, stainless steel and cast iron electrodes. Synergistically controlled, infinitely adjustable welding current. Small size and weight make the device ideal for both workshop and field work.
The easy-to-read LCD display allows accurate adjustment of the device, ensures stable parameters and high quality welding.
MMA SYNERGY – By setting the welding current, the device suggests the correct welding electrode diameter and thickness of the material to be welded to the selected current.
VRD (Voltage Reduction Device) function – reduces the idle state resting voltage on the electrode to a safe value. Provides electric shock safety during operation in humid environments.
The welder has functions to facilitate the process of MMA welding with covered electrode:
ARC FORCE: short-circuit current control – facilitates the transfer of molten electrode droplets to the welded material, preventing extinguishment of the arc when the electrode droplet comes into contact with the welding pool
HOT START: hot start control – facilitates electrode ignition by providing more welding current each time the arc is struck.
ANTI STICK: anti-short-circuit – automatically shuts off the welding voltage if the electrode sticks to the material being welded, which makes it easier to peel off and prevents accidental welding arc.
