Focus Stick 161 E is a single-phase (230V) inverter MMA welder ideal for field service teams, assembly or workshop welding. The Focus Stick 161 E allows welding with most rutile and basic electrode types with a maximum diameter of 3.2 mm (85V idle voltage). For even more flexibility, the unit has an option to select positive or negative polarity on the electrode terminal. Using rubbing ignition, simple TIG welding can also be performed. The Focus Stick 161 E welder is equipped with a PFC (Power Factor Correction) function. PFC is an electrical circuit that ensures maximum power utilization and minimum power loss, allowing welding with about 25% more current using 16 A mains fuses. The new technology provides a mains voltage tolerance window of -40 to +10%, allowing welding with long mains cables or a generator as a power source.
