While traditional filters offer a DIN 4 brightness level, vegaview 2.5 provides a DIN 2.5 level, which translates into a dramatically brighter and clearer view of the environment. This enables precise material preparation, electrode or torch positioning and weld inspection without lifting the visor. ?True-Color View Filter – Weld in Realistic Colors
The specialized UV/IR filter used in the vegaview 2.5 is designed to transmit a broad spectrum of light, almost completely eliminating the green tint typical of welding filters. This allows the welder to see the weld pool, the material and the entire environment in natural, true colors. This allows for better assessment of weld temperature, easier differentiation of color markings on the metal and full situational awareness. This is a key feature for TIG and MIG/MAG welders, where precise control of the process is fundamental.
