ABOUT THE PRODUCT
Built-in automatic functions to make work easier:
HOT START popularly known as hot start allows by temporarily increasing the welding current above the value set by the welder. HOT START operates at the moment of arc ignition and is designed to prevent the electrode from sticking to the material. It is a great convenience when igniting the electrode.
ANTI STICK cuts off/minimizes welding voltage and current in the event of a short circuit between the electrode and the material being welded. ANTI STICK allows the welder to more easily detach the electrode.
ARC FORCE stabilizes the arc regardless of its length. Decreasing the value of the function gives a soft arc and a shallower depth of fusion, while increasing the value of the function results in deeper fusion and the possibility of short arc welding. At the highest value for the ARC FORCE function, it is possible to “push the electrode into the molten metal lake and burn through the material to the core. This model has automatic ARC FORCE adjustment.
VRD is a voltage reduction system designed to turn off the power supply within a few milliseconds after the welding is finished. This function is also responsible for reducing the voltage at the covered electrode to a safe level. The VRD function turns the welding power on and off when the electrical resistance between the electrode and the workpiece measured during operation reaches the appropriate level. When the device is not in operation, VRD automatically reduces the secondary circuit voltage between the welding tips from 105 V to 14-24 V (this takes a few milliseconds).
COMPACT DESIGN
The device welds with a current of 20 to 300A, and allows welding with an electrode with a diameter of 1.6 mm to 5 mm.
The IGBT transistor combines the advantages of two types of transistors the ease of control of field-effect transistors and the high breakdown voltage and switching speed of bipolar transistors. Welding with a 1.6 mm electrode is already possible with a 16A class C delayed fuse. Operation at a maximum current of 300A requires a fuse of at least 20A.
The welder weighs only 2.55 kg, making it very handy.
The welder has standard copper EURO connections for welding wires. By using the EURO standard, additional replacement welding leads can be easily selected.
Thanks to the use of a large fan in a small welder housing, airflow was increased, which lowered the temperature of the transistors. The efficiency of the device is as high as 60%.
The suspenders definitely make working with the welder easier by making it more manageable.
