URANOS NX 2700 PMC Design and Cooling

An enclosure made of high-temperature, shock- and abrasion-resistant plastic effectively protects electronics,
while directed airflow and a protected circuit board prevent contamination. A linear-controlled fan on demand further ensures optimal cooling,
which saves energy with a built-in power factor controller.

Wire Feed and Control Unit

The machine has a built-in 4-roller drive wire feeding unit designed by voestalpine Böhler Welding,
which consequently guarantees precise material feeding. In addition, a full digital control panel with LCD display enables convenient display of parameters, automatic saving of recent settings and backup/restore functions, which greatly facilitates the operator’s work.

Welding Functions and Compatibility

The device is ideal for electrode welding primarily thanks to built-in arc control functions such as hot start, arc force
and antisticking, in addition to synergistic settings that automatically select welding parameters. What’s more, it supports spot, intermittent and bilevel MIG/MAG welding modes, giving you the ability to remotely control and work with cooling systems (WU cooling unit).
