RapiDeep is a revolutionary MIG/MAG process from Böhler Welding, designed to achieve maximum penetration depth while increasing welding speed (up to 50% faster) compared to conventional short-circuit welding. The concentrated arc provides deeper penetration, which is key when welding thicker sections and materials requiring solid connections.

With reduced linear heat input (Low Heat Input), RapiDeep minimizes weld distortion and the width of the heat-affected zone (SWC), which is beneficial for maintaining the mechanical properties of the material. This process increases productivity and efficiency, especially in industrial applications. Available as part of Böhler Arc’s advanced synergy programs.

The Böhler Arc system is a comprehensive set of optimized synergy programs that significantly simplify the setting of welding parameters and guarantee reproducible, high quality welds. After selecting the type of material, wire diameter and shielding gas, the device automatically selects the optimal parameters that the welder can fine-tune.
