The GYS KRONOS 250M is an advanced, single-phase (230V) inverter multiprocess welder offering MIG/MAG (with and without gas), MMA (shielded electrode) and TIG Lift welding. It is a versatile and powerful device designed for professional applications in automotive workshops, light industry, craftsmen, and for more demanding maintenance and repair work.
The welder offers a maximum welding current of 250 amperes (for MIG/MAG) and features an intuitive digital control panel with precise adjustment of all welding parameters. In MIG/MAG mode, it features adjustable welding voltage, wire feed speed and an advanced synergy function with multiple programs tailored to different materials, gases and wire diameters. It also offers manual adjustment of synergy parameters. In MMA mode, it features adjustable Hot Start, Arclace and Anti-Sticking. TIG Lift mode allows direct current (DC) welding with friction ignition. The KRONOS 250M can weld carbon steel, stainless steel and minium (MIG/MAG and TIG – requires a suitable TIG holder and shielding gas). It is equipped with a 4-roll wire feeder for stable and smooth wire feeding, even when welding minium.
The version “WITH” means that the kit includes the basic professional accessories necessary to start welding by various methods. The “M” designation in the name suggests a single-phase power supply and compact design.
