The KRYPTON 231 DC FV WDB kit is a professional, compact TIG DC (Tungsten Inert Gas) welding kit with PULS and MMA (Manual Metal Arc) functions from GYS. Like the WL version, this kit also includes a liquid-cooled TIG chuck (indicated by the letters “W” in the name). In addition, the letters “DB” in the name of the TIG handle usually denote a handle with a double button (Down-Button), allowing remote control of welding parameters directly from the handle.
The kit features FV (Flexible Voltage) technology, which allows operation over a wide supply voltage range of 85V to 265V, and PFC (Power Factor Correction), which optimizes power consumption.

TIG DC welding: Excellent weld quality on carbon steel, stainless steel, copper and its alloys. Minium welding capability (requires appropriate electrodes and gas).
Two types of TIG ignition: HF (non-contact) and Lift Arc (contact).
