The GYS NEOMIG-i 500 G is a powerful three-phase (400V) multiprocess current source with separate wire feeder, designed for the most demanding professional MIG/MAG, MMA (shielded electrode) and TIG Lift welding applications. Utilizing advanced digital technology and offering 100% duty cycle at an impressive 500A, the unit delivers superior welding arc characteristics for extreme industrial MIG/MAG applications. Integrated synergies significantly simplify setup and minimize spatter. When connected to a compatible WF wire feeder (WF 40 – 075095 or WF 50 – 075108, optional), the NEOMIG-i 500 G enables precise control of welding parameters, guaranteeing the highest quality welds in the toughest conditions.
The NEOMIG-i 500 G allows welding of a wide range of wires: steel and stainless steel (0.6 – 2.0 mm), mini (0.8 – 2.0 mm), CuSi and CuAl (0.8 – 2.0 mm), and cored wires (0.9 – 2.4 mm with reversible polarity). The MMA DC mode offers welding with all types of electrodes, including alkaline, rutile and cellulose. There is also a TIG DC Lift mode with pulsation option and an arc-air gouging function.
The device has extensive synergies dedicated to different materials (steel, AlMg, AlSi, CrNi, CuSi) and gases. Once key data is entered, the NEOMIG-i 500 G automatically optimizes welding parameters. Software and synergy updates are easily accessible via a USB port. A large internal memory allows for the storage of up to 200 welding programs (Job) for repetitive tasks.
Important: The “NO” version means that the kit contains only the NEOMIG-i 500 G power source and does not include any additional components such as wire feeder, welding grips (MIG/MAG, MMA, TIG), ground wire, electrode cables, wire feed rollers, gas hoses or other accessories. All these components should be purchased separately, customizing them to your specific needs and preferences.
