Description
Inverter welder for TIG and TIG PULSE welding with alternating current (AC) and direct current (DC) with contactless (HF) arc ignition and MMA welding with direct current (DC) covered electrode. Power supply 3x400V, welding current 10 – 320A, cooler.
EXPERT TIG 320 AC/DC is a power source, made with IGBT technology, designed for TIG and TIG PULS welding with alternating current (AC), direct current (DC), and MMA welding with covered electrode (DC) and (AC). The small size and weight make the device ideal for both workshop and field work.
The device has the following welding modes: TIG DC, TIG DC PULS, TIG AC, TIG AC PULS, MMA AC, MMA DC.
The TIG DC and TIG DC PULS function is used for welding stainless steel, carbon and low-alloy steels, copper and titanium.
TIG AC and TIG AC PULS function: allows welding of aluminum and its alloys and brass.
TIG 2-LEVEL function: the “2-level” current control allows switching between higher and lower current levels by successive button presses on the welding handle.
TIG POINT function: allows you to tack thin materials.
By adjusting the parameters of TIG PULS pulse welding, we can influence the shape of the weld and the focus of the arc. Pulsed welding also reduces the amount of heat delivered to the material and is applicable when welding thin materials.
The arc is engaged in either non-contact (HF) or contact (LIFT) mode. The LIFT function is used when welding in environments with a high risk of being affected by electromagnetic interference to the environment.
With both HF non-contact ignition and LIFT touch ignition, we have the option to choose the function of the button on the TIG handle between 2-takt or 4-takt operation (button lock for long welds).
The easy-to-read and easy-to-use digital control panel allows accurate adjustment of the device, ensures stable parameters and high quality welding.
The device has 9 user program record locations for welding programs.
Digital displays make it easy to adjust welder parameters:
initial outflow of shielding gas
initial current
current rise time
welding current
base current
current fall time
final current
final outflow of shielding gas
pulse length
pulse frequency
AC balas
AC frequency
HOT START value
ARC FORCE value
From the control panel we can select the AC voltage curve :
TIG AC – triangular voltage waveform
TIG AC – rectangular voltage waveform
TIG AC – sinusoidal voltage waveform
The welder also has functions to facilitate the MMA welding process with covered electrode:
ARC FORCE: short-circuit current control (manual) – facilitates the transfer of molten electrode droplets to the material being welded, preventing the arc from being extinguished when the electrode droplet comes into contact with the welding pool
HOT START: hot start control (manual) – facilitates electrode ignition by providing more welding current each time the arc is struck.
ANTI STICK: anti-short-circuit – automatically shuts off the welding voltage if the electrode sticks to the material being welded, which makes it easier to peel off and prevents accidental welding arc.
Physical parameters
The device has a cooler which definitely increases its efficiency and protects against overheating of the handle.
The quick-connect gas connection to the welding gun allows the welding gun to be connected and disconnected instantly without tools.
The device is equipped with overload protection, which increases its reliability.
