The KempGouge machine provides 800 A of gouging current in a 50% duty cycle. The device’s software has been developed specifically for electro-air gouging, resulting in optimal operating characteristics and low noise levels. The KempGouge device can remove rims and defective welds, prepare weld grooves, cut metals, cut holes, clean castings and remove excess metal.

The KempGouge ARC 800 provides efficient and convenient gouging. With the addition of the optional R10 remote control, gouging current can be set directly from the workstation, without having to walk from the workpiece to the power source to adjust parameters. A GT4000 electrode holder specially designed for the KempGouge allows the use of both round and flat gouging electrodes. The gouging air pressure can be adjusted with a convenient knob on the chuck.

The kit includes a power source, control panel and a chassis for easier movement.
