Description
Paton ProTIG-200 AC DC TIG welder – basic data
ThePATON® ADI 200 PAC digital inverter welder is optimized for “TIG” direct or alternating current (AC/DC) inert gas shielded arc welding and “MMA” direct current manual metal arc welding.
The device of the “Professional” series, was designed for consumers who require a compact design and an optimal ratio between portability and functionality of the unit with its full nominal current.
The best solution for constant and alternating current welding of a wide range of materials: aluminum, aluminum alloys (TIG AC mode), parts and materials made of steel, non-ferrous metals and copper alloys (TIG DC mode). The device can also be used for welding with covered electrodes (MMA mode). In addition, the manufacturer has used the RIV (SPOT) function in this device. The PATON ADI 200РАС inverter welder provides excellent non-contact ignition, a steady and stable electric arc, as well as high weld quality and ease of use. The device has a protection module against under- and over-voltage supply. Due to the increase in the frequency of the input voltage, which is supplied to the transformer, it is several times smaller, so the device has several times less weight and dimensions with the same output parameters compared to other devices with similar characteristics.
The Paton ProTIG-200 AC DC TIG welder is designed for welding:
– TIG AC/DC (direct / alternating current).
– MMA (direct current)
– RIV (rivet welding mode)
MAIN ADVANTAGES OF PATON DEVICES:
- European production
- Electronic thermal protection system that protects all heat-generating components from overheating
- Reliability through IGBT technology
- Ability to work on long extension cords as well as with a generator
- Pulsed current welding (PULSE function)
- Improved arc glow stability
-
Mode change function 2T, 4T, gas cleaning from feeder function
- The devices have voltage spike protection and an operation stabilization system, allowing proper operation for a voltage range of 160V to 260V
- Twice the electricity demand compared to traditional sources
- Optimal fusion and correct stitch shape regardless of welding position
3-year manufacturer’s warranty for consumers as well as companies
The highest quality workmanship confirmed by a 3-year DOOR-to-DOOR manufacturer’s warranty. ADI Standard Series models feature a compact design that incorporates a number of innovative technological solutions to increase the reliability of the devices. The inverter’s reliability in dusty and humid environments has been increased by moving the electronic system to a separate chamber, in addition, the electronic components have been impregnated with high-class varnish.
The purchased set includes:
- Paton ProTIG 200 AC DC TIG welder

If the customer selects a TIG handle, this kit will be completed with the selected handle.
Main advantages of Paton ADI 200 PRO TIG/MMA AC/DC Welder
- Installed module for contactless arc ignition (initiation of high voltage welding of the order of kV) HF.
- Pulsed current welding function in TIG AC/DC and MMA modes
- Ability to save custom 10 welding settings.
- RIV welding function
- Button mode on 2T and 4T handle
- All electronic components of the device are impregnated with two layers of high-quality varnish, which ensures the reliability of the product throughout its lifetime.
- An electronic heat protection system has been installed on all components of the source that heat up during operation, when reaching a temperature of 100 ˚С, the power supply of the device will turn off for a period until the temperature drops.
- Infinitely adjustable welding parameters
- Improved arc stabilization in TIG AC/DC modes.
- Adaptive control of fan speed according to temperature.
- Despite the protection against voltage spikes, a system is installed to stabilize operation at larger long-term voltage differences in the single-phase power grid from 190 V to 260 V.
