Description
Two-stage cylinder regulators with rotameter are leverless regulators with a double system of reducing (lowering) the gas pressure. In the first stage, the inlet pressure is reduced to an average height in the second stage the required outlet pressure (working pressure – p2) is established, ensuring that the throughput is maintained according to the required parameters. This throughput is indicated by a rotameter. The pressures on the first and second stages are set in the factory by means of set screws. Two-stage regulators, compared with single-stage regulators, are characterized by much greater accuracy in maintaining outlet pressures over the entire range of cylinder discharge. In addition, the regulators are more resistant to freezing at high gas intakes and lower ambient temperatures.
APPLICATION
Two-stage cylinder regulators with a rotameter are used to reduce the pressure of gases drawn directly from cylinders or cylinder banks to the required operating pressures. These regulators are used in cases of high requirements for accurate maintenance of working pressures. The regulators are designed for welding equipment (e.g. welding in protective gas atmospheres).
