What is the PM-IMGTS-210S Synergy inverter migrator?

The Powermat PM-IMGTS-210S SYNERGY semi-automatic welding machine has a very wide range of use. It allows efficient welding of various types of material groups in a wide range of material thickness. The IGBT transistors used have a favorable effect on lower electricity consumption, greater resistance to noise and voltage drops, and good arc characteristics.

The control panel with function descriptions in Polish is easy to use, and the operator has quick access to all functions. This has a positive effect on ergonomics and productivity at the plant.

The device has a synergistic welding function, which makes it possible to obtain the highest quality weld when welding any weldable material – especially those made of stainless steel and aluminum.

The electronics of the device are based on IGBT transistors combining the advantages of two types of transistors the ease of control of field effect transistors and the high breakdown voltage and switching speed of bipolar transistors. The welding current is very stable, which guarantees a perfect weld. Thanks to IGBT technology, the device is lighter and more economical in power consumption.

Performance and capabilities

High efficiency and effective cooling

Thanks to the use of IGBT transistor technology The efficiency of the device is as high as 60%.

Wire feed fully automatic.

Built-in automatic functions to make your work easier

  • HOT START popularly known as hot start allows by temporarily increasing the welding current above the value set by the welder. HOT START operates at the moment of arc ignition and is designed to prevent the electrode from sticking to the material. It is a great convenience when igniting the electrode.
  • ANTI STICK cuts off/minimizes welding voltage and current in the event of a short circuit between the electrode and the material being welded. ANTI STICK allows the welder to more easily detach the electrode.
  • ARC FORCE stabilizes the arc regardless of its length. Decreasing the value of the function gives a soft arc and a shallower depth of fusion, while increasing the value of the function gives a deeper fusion and the possibility of short arc welding. At the highest value for the ARC FORCE function, it is possible to “push the electrode into the molten metal pool and burn through the material to the core. This model has automatic ARC FORCE adjustment.

SYNERGY technology capabilities

Additional comfort and advantages are provided:

  • Synergistic MIG mode – a function that allows you to set a two-bar and a four-bar.
  • Inductance control – which allows you to reduce the amount of heat introduced into the welding area. This avoids deformation of the sheet metal and damage to the protective zinc layer. This option comes in handy when welding thin materials.
  • The function of selecting the type of material to be welded, which in synergistic mode will select the appropriate welding parameters to facilitate its performance.
  • VRD function – voltage reduction system, which is designed to turn off the power supply within a few milliseconds after the end of welding. This function is also responsible for reducing the voltage on the covered electrode to a safe level. Voltage reduction system.

Selection of wire and type of material

Available preset options

  • FeCO2 – a synergistic program for MAG welding of black steel in CO2 shielding.
  • FeMIX – a synergy program for MAG welding of black steel in a shielding of Ar+CO2 gas mixture.
  • FLUX – program for self-cored wire for carbon and low-alloy steel without gas (requires polarity change).

Semi-automatic by switching the type of material to be welded gives the appropriate presets, which automatically with the selected wire thickness will adjust the welding parameters.

Wire feeding system

The 2-roller feeder allows precise feed of the welding wire excluding wire slippage.

Mobility of the device

The lightweight design, along with a sturdy aluminum handle, allows the entire unit to be easily moved.
