Welder Fantasy MegaTig DC 280 + Parker SGT18FX handle
The newest TIG device on the Polish market! Previously unavailable features, are now at your fingertips!
High efficiency of the device 60%.
Technologia IGBT – Insulated Gate Bipolar Transistor -. is a modern technology based on bipolar transistors with an isolated gate. It combines the ease of control of field-effect transistors with the high breakdown voltage and switching speed of bipolar transistors. The use of IGBT technology has the effect of significantly extending the reliable operation of welding equipment.
The top-of-the-line device sets new standards among DC TIG welding machines, and the user-friendly control panel ensures the selection of all necessary working parameters. The standard equipment includes liquid-cooled PARKER SUPERGRIP SGT18 FLEX TIG chuck 4 mb
Welder Fantasy MEGA TIG 280 DC industrial equipment is a microprocessor-based welding source based on IGBT technology, equipped with a liquid-cooled chuck, suitable for welding carbon steel, stainless steel, acid-resistant steel, copper, brass, magnesium, titanium.
DEVICE FEATURES:
* compact design,
* IGBT transistors,
* 60% efficiency,
* easy-to-use control panel,
* very wide range of welding functions.
The device allows welding with methods:
TIG DC lift-arc – In the TIG (Tungsten Inert Gas) method, an electric arc is struck in a shield of inert gas (argon) between the workpiece and an infusible electrode made of pure tungsten or tungsten with additives. In TIG lift-arc mode, the arc is struck when the electrode comes into contact with the workpiece. In TIG DC mode, the current is constant.
TIG DC HF – In order to completely eliminate the possibility of contamination of the weld with tungsten, it is recommended that the electrode does not touch the workpiece being welded; for this very purpose, non-contact arc ignition is used using high-frequency discharges generated by the built-in ionizer.
TIG DC PULS lift-arc – arc ignition is performed by contacting the electrode with the material to be welded, the pulse function allows welding thin parts by periodically changing the current.
TIG DC PULS HF – non-contact HF ignition using an ionizer in TIG DC PULS mode.
MMA DC+ – The MMA method uses a covered electrode, consisting of a metal core covered with a lagging. An electric arc is produced between the end of the electrode and the material to be welded. The arc is ignited by touching the end of the electrode to the material to be welded. MMA DC+ means welding with positive polarity – more heat is released in the material and less in the electrode.
MMA DC- – the difference with MMA DC+ is that the polarity in the MMA DC- mode is negative, so the heat distribution is reversed – more heat is released on the electrode and less in the welded material.
MMA VRD DC+ – available in MMA DC+ mode, the VRD function ( Voltage Reduction Device – a module that reduces the rest (idle) voltage of the secondary circuit of the device. Increases safety and reduces the risk of electric shock. The function turns the welding power off and on when the resistance between the electrode tips and the workpiece is measured during welding.
MMA VRD DC- – available in MMA DC- mode, the VRD ( Voltage Reduction Device) function works in an analogous way to MMA VRD DC+, the difference is the negative polarity.
PANEL FUNCTIONS:
– HOT START – A function that increases the current when the welding arc is struck, making it easier to start welding.
– ARC FORCE – short circuit current control – makes the shortening of the arc length accompanied by an increase in welding current, which stabilizes the arc regardless of fluctuations in length.
– HF – the device is equipped with an ionizer, which allows a non-contact look into the welding arc.
– PRE and POST GAS – gas outflow before and after welding.
– UP and DOWN SLOPE – rising and falling welding current.
– PULSE – pulse current welding mode.
– VRD – Voltage Reduction Device – reduces the idle voltage of the secondary circuit of the device. Increases safety and reduces the risk of electric shock.
– PFC – Power Factor Correction – increasing the power factor to a value as close to 100% as possible to reduce power losses in transmission lines.
– 2-TAKT and 4-TAKT,
– contactless HF and by rubbing LIFT ignition,
– possibility of connecting remote control – control pedal, handle with potentiometer,
– dual-function ADJUST knob (coarse and fine adjustment),
– and others, described in the manual.
