Description
The process is very efficient and much faster than shielded electrode welding (MMA), TIG and standard MIG/MAG short-circuit arc welding, while still providing high quality welds. Attached pipes can be welded in any position, and the groove opening angle can be reduced by up to 40%, depending on the application.
Precise real-time voltage measurement, current regulation and the right timing of filler material droplet release produce a stable and efficient arc for excellent welding quality. The transfer of filler material is even and splatter-free. According to EN ISO 4063, WiseRoot is a MIG/MAG 131, 133, 135 or 138 welding process.
BENEFITS
- Increased welding speed compared to MMA, TIG and standard MAG short arc welding methods
- Possibility to reduce the volume of grooves
- Availability of a wide range of weld spacing and boundary layers without incomplete or excessive penetration
- Easy to learn welding technique
- No need for ring washers
- Less chipping
- Possibility to weld fixed pipes in any position
- Ability to weld rotated pipes
- Possibility of welding with long cables
- The processes can be used with a variety of materials, such as steel, stainless steel and high-alloy steels
- Excellent arc properties in the WiseRoot process, also with CO₂.
- Wide selection of wire diameters (0.8-1.2)
WiseRoot
Optimized process for efficient short-arc boundary stitch welding with FastMig M. Excellent weld quality thanks to automatic adjustment of welding parameters. Higher speed than traditional shielded electrode arc welding (MMA), TIG or short-arc (short) MIG/MAG welding. Possibility of automated welding.
