GYS PROTIG 231L DC PFC is an advanced, ultra-compact and portable single-phase (230V) inverter welding machine for professional DC TIG welding with two arc ignition modes: HF (non-contact) and Lift Arc (contact). In addition, it allows MMA (Manual Metal Arc) welding with PULS function.
This model is distinguished by an integrated liquid cooling module (marked with an “L” in the name), which allows welding at higher currents for longer periods without overheating the TIG handle. In addition, it is equipped with PFC (Power Factor Correction), which optimizes power consumption, making the device more energy-efficient and less prone to voltage drops.
The welder offers a maximum welding current of 230 amps. This kit comes with a set of necessary accessories, including a 4-meter-long liquid-cooled TIG20B TIG chuck, to start working immediately.

DC TIG welding: High quality welds on carbon steel, stainless steel, copper and its alloys.
Two types of TIG ignition:
HF (High Frequency): Non-contact arc ignition, ideal for precision work and avoiding contamination.
Lift Arc: Occlusion by touching the tungsten electrode to the material to be welded, recommended in environments sensitive to electromagnetic interference.
Gas Post Flow Function: Adjustable gas post flow time protects the weld from oxidation and cools the electrode.
MMA welding: Capable of welding with covered electrodes up to 5 mm in diameter (rutile, basic).
