We take your fleet of welding machines under ongoing care: planned inspections, measurements, cooling checks and thermal imaging. Every machine gets class A, B or C, and we match the level of care to the role of the workstation. When a machine stops, an agreed path starts: repair, replacement machine or swap.
- 3 classesof the fleet: A, B and C by how critical they are
- 12 monthsthe rhythm of care in the basic packages
- 6 monthsthe rhythm for shift work and dust
- since 2015our own welding machine service
What we do within the package
Planned inspection
Once every 12 months, at our place or at yours on the shop floor.
- cleaning the inside with compressed air
- check and tightening of the power connections
- cables, plugs and the torch
- load test of the power source
Safety measurements
To the PN EN 60974 4 standard, the same scheme every year.
- the same scope for every machine
- a result you can compare year on year
- inspection report in the paid package
Cooling check
A separate COOLING CHECK add on or a part of the LIQUID 12 package.
- flow and tightness of the circuit
- condition of the coolant and the coolant change
- work of the pump, hoses and quick couplings
Thermal imaging
The THERMO CHECK add on. A thermal anomaly is visible before a failure.
- parts exposed to overheating
- power connections and current paths
- photos for the history of the machine
Parameter validation
The VALIDATION add on for processes that need confirmation.
- check of the settings and of repeatability
- a document for your quality records
Fleet classification A / B / C
We start with a list of your machines, not with selling a package.
- the role of the workstation in production
- the list of critical machines
- a map of priorities in case of a failure
4 steps to predictable care for your machine park
First we put the fleet in order, then we match the level of care to the real role of the machines. We talk about the price at the end, after the list of machines.
Fleet onboarding
We list the machines, the processes and the working conditions. Every machine gets class A, B or C.
Choice of packages
To the classes we match PREVENT 12, QUALITY 12 or LIQUID 12 and add ons for hard conditions.
Planned care
Inspections, measurements, validation and reports on an agreed schedule. You know when we arrive.
Handling a failure
You report the fault and you get a repair, replacement equipment or a swap: Repair / Rent / Swap.
Match the care to the role of a specific machine
The packages work per machine. A supporting machine and a power source at a critical workstation do not need the same supervision.
PREVENT 12
Safety and control of the condition of the machine, 12 months.
- planned annual inspection
- basic documentation of the machine
- a good start for the stable part of your fleet
QUALITY 12
For workstations that matter for quality, for the process and for audits.
- check of the working parameters
- support for your quality records
- the right logic for repeatable processes
LIQUID 12
For liquid cooled machines and complex systems.
- check of the power source and the cooling system
- tightness, flow, condition of the coolant
- for more demanding configurations
| Level and add on | Rhythm | What it covers |
|---|---|---|
| PREVENT 12 | 12 months | Planned annual inspection and basic documentation |
| QUALITY 12 | 12 months | Check of the parameters and support for quality records |
| LIQUID 12 | 12 months | Check of the power source and the cooling: tightness, flow, coolant |
| HEAVY DUTY 6M | 6 months | A shorter rhythm for shift work, dust and heavier load |
| THERMO CHECK | add on | Thermal imaging inspection of parts exposed to overheating |
| COOLING CHECK | add on | Check of the cooling system and of the work of the liquid circuit |
| VALIDATION | add on | Validation and documentation of the process |
We do not publish package prices, the quote comes after the list of your fleet. It depends on the number of machines, the type of work, the location, the quality requirements and the scope of continuity. For a used machine bought at Spawlab you get the first year of the basic package in the price: an inspection with cleaning of the machine and a validation measurement.
Packages for a location, not for a single machine
CONTINUITY puts the response to failures in the plant in order: the rules for reporting, the priorities and the list of critical machines.
| Level | Who it is for | What it puts in order |
|---|---|---|
| START | Smaller companies with a few machines | Basic protection and a simple emergency path |
| PRO | Medium sized production companies | Faster handling, more support, better priority logic |
| MAX | Plants where downtime really costs | Stronger priorities for critical workstations |
| ENTERPRISE | Complex machine parks | An individual model, reporting and logistics |
You combine CONTINUITY with the technical packages: the machines get a level of care, and the location gets the rules of response.
Brands we take under our care
- Megmeet
- Migatronic
- Böhler Welding
- Fronius
- Kemppi
- EWM
- ESAB
- Lincoln Electric
- Cebora
- Lorch
- Hypertherm
For Megmeet, Migatronic and Böhler Welding we are the authorised distributor and premium service for Poland. We take other industrial class machines once we have qualified the model. We combine different brands in one contract.
What changes once the contract is signed
A predictable cost
A fixed fee instead of unplanned invoices for repairs.
Priority in the queue
Your request goes to the front of the queue, not in the order it came in.
A replacement machine
Repair / Rent / Swap: a repair, equipment for the time of the repair or a swap. We arrange the transport.
Reports and documents for an audit
The history of the work and the status of the machine in one place. The inspection report only in the paid package.
A discount on parts and materials
A standing discount on spare parts, torch consumables and Böhler Welding wires and rods.
The first year in the price of a used machine
You buy a used machine from us and in the first year an inspection is included: cleaning of the machine and a validation measurement.
You can prepare the list of your fleet in a quarter of an hour: the number of machines, the processes, the cooling and the critical machines. Write to serwis@spawlab.pl or call +48 669 162 833.
The most common questions before you start
How much does a service package cost?
We do not publish prices, because we count the packages per machine. The quote comes after the list of your fleet: the number of machines, the type of work, the location, the quality requirements and the scope of continuity.
Do I have to put all my machines in a package?
No. We match the packages to specific machines and workstations. You can start with a part of the fleet, most often with the critical, the quality related or the liquid cooled machines.
Where does the inspection take place?
At our place in Krotoszyn at Akacjowa 15 or at yours on the shop floor. We handle collection and delivery all over Poland, from Monday to Friday, from 8 to 16.
Will I get a replacement machine?
Yes, depending on the scope of our cooperation, the class of the machine and the continuity rules. We write the terms into the contract, so that nobody has to agree them from scratch when a machine fails.
I am buying a used machine from you, what about the service?
Used machines come with no commercial guarantee. You get the first year of the basic package in the price of the machine, from the day the equipment is handed over: an inspection with cleaning and a validation measurement. The inspection report is included only in the paid package.
What does the package not cover?
Repairs after mechanical damage, flooding, a power surge and work against the manual. We settle those separately, after a quote. You buy consumables at a discount.
I have various TIG and MIG machines in different configurations, how do I sort this out?
You do not have to choose one package for the whole fleet. Describe the structure: the number of machines, the processes, the cooling and the models, if you know them. We do the split into classes.
Do I have to know the package names before we talk?
No. It is enough that you describe your fleet in plain words: how many machines you have, which processes dominate and what stops production.
