Delivery and payment

We ship from Krotoszyn within Poland, to every country in the European Union and beyond. Parcels go by DPD courier, heavier machines travel on a pallet with Raben. The delivery cost is calculated in the basket from the weight and type of goods. You see it before you confirm the order, and there is nothing to pay on top later.

In the English version of the shop, prices, delivery costs and orders are in euro (EUR). We convert them from Polish zloty at a fixed rate of 4.30 zloty per euro.

Delivery methods, cost and dispatch time in Poland

Method What we send this way Cost Dispatch of goods in stock
DPD courier wire, electrodes, accessories, torches, parts, machines up to 30 kg EUR 6.98 net (EUR 8.58 with VAT) for each started parcel up to 25 kg within 2 working days
Raben pallet transport machines and compressors heavier than 30 kg or too large for a parcel, and equipment with no weight listed EUR 69.77 net (EUR 85.81 with VAT) per shipment within 2 to 3 working days
Collection in person, Krotoszyn everything in the range EUR 0 by appointment

We count parcels from the weight of the goods. We pack up to 25 kg in one parcel, and an item of 25 to 30 kg goes in a parcel of its own. Example: one 18 kg spool of wire is 1 parcel for EUR 6.98 net, three such spools are 3 parcels for EUR 20.93 net. You see the number of parcels in the basket next to the courier. Dispatch times count in working days from the day your payment is credited.

If the order would need more than 10 parcels, that is more than EUR 69.77 net, we send the whole order on a pallet for EUR 69.77 net. If your basket holds wire and a machine, they also go together on a pallet. You do not pay for transport twice.

Made-to-order items ship within 1 to 4 weeks, and we confirm the exact date by email. The product page and the basket show whether an item is in stock or ordered in for you.

International shipping

We ship to countries in the European Union and beyond. The cost comes from the carrier's price list: parcels up to 25 kg go by DPD courier, machines from 25 kg go on a pallet with delivery by a truck with a tail lift, also to private customers. You see the cost in the cart after choosing the country, and every product page has a calculator, "International shipping: calculate the cost". The price covers delivery to the address, without carrying inside.

VAT depends on the delivery country. A private customer from the European Union pays the price with Polish VAT of 23%. A company from the European Union with a valid EU VAT number pays the net price; we check the number at checkout. A customer outside the European Union pays the price without VAT (export), and customs duties and taxes in the destination country are paid by the recipient.

Islands, Cyprus, Malta, shipments over 300 kg or taller than 170 cm, several machines at once and countries without a price in the cart are quoted individually. Place the order with shipping "on quote": we will email you the shipping cost within 1 business day, you pay by bank transfer only after you accept it, and if the cost does not suit you, we cancel the order free of charge.

How we pack machines

A machine up to 30 kg is packed in a box with padding and sent by courier. A heavier welder travels on a pallet, strapped to the base, with cardboard corner pieces and film all round. The torch, the earth lead, the regulator and the documents are packed separately in a box and placed inside. Gas cylinders are shipped by the manufacturer, free of charge and only within Poland.

The Raben driver pulls up at the address and lowers the pallet on a tail lift if you arrange this with us before dispatch. Carrying the goods into the building or up stairs is not part of the transport contract. Prepare a spot at ground level or a ramp, and have someone on hand at the delivery. We pass the phone number from your order to the driver, who calls before arriving.

Check the shipment on delivery

Look over the box or the pallet before the driver leaves. If you see torn film, a broken pallet, a punctured box or signs of water damage, unpack the goods in front of the driver and write a damage report. Take photographs of the packaging and the machine before you throw anything away.

Send the report and the photographs to kontakt@spawlab.pl. With that set of evidence a claim against the carrier moves quickly and you get new goods or your money back. Without a report the carrier usually refuses to pay and the matter drags on.

Arrange collection in person by phone on +48 669 162 833. Address: ul. Akacjowa 15, 63-700 Krotoszyn, Monday to Friday between 8 and 16. We start the machine up with you there, show you the result of the load test and hand over the accessories listed on the product page.

Payment

  • Bank transfer in euro to our EUR account. You get the transfer details in the order summary and by email. We hold the goods until the payment is credited.
  • PayU: fast online transfer or payment card, with no transfer details to copy.
  • Instalments with eRaty Santander, for customers in Poland. You sign the instalment agreement directly with Santander Consumer Bank, and the bank makes the decision.
  • Leasing with LeaseLink for companies in Poland. You sign the lease agreement directly with LeaseLink.
  • Invoice with deferred payment for companies, after verification. Write to us before placing the order.
  • 0% VAT for companies in the European Union with a valid EU VAT number. The conditions are set out below.

VAT invoice and business purchases

We issue a VAT invoice with every order. Tick the company invoice box in the order form and enter your tax number, and the invoice will be made out to the company. We send it as a PDF to the email address from the order, and we add a paper copy to the shipment on request.

If you want to buy on payment terms, write to kontakt@spawlab.pl giving your VAT number and the terms you propose. We reply within one working day. Terms are granted after we verify the company, usually from the second order onwards.

Sales to companies in the European Union, 0% VAT

To a company with a valid EU VAT number we sell under the intra-community supply procedure at 0% VAT. There are four conditions:

  • the buyer's EU VAT number active in the VIES system on the day of sale,
  • the invoice made out to the company, not to a private individual,
  • the goods transported out of Poland to another country in the Union,
  • documents confirming the transport, that is a consignment note signed by the recipient or a confirmation of receipt.

Where a company from the Union collects in person, we issue an invoice at the domestic rate and correct it to 0% once proof of transport is provided. Write to us before buying and we will agree the documents and the method of transport.

Sales outside the European Union are exports at 0% VAT: the cart shows the price without VAT, and you pay customs duties and taxes in the destination country on delivery. If you have a question about documents, write to kontakt@spawlab.pl.
