The process

How the valuation works

Four steps from the photos to the bank transfer. The better the photos and the description, the fewer extra questions.

01

You send the submission

Through the form below this page you send the description, the photos, the technical condition, the contents of the set and the price.

02

We check the data

We analyse the brand, the model, the year of purchase, the equipment, the sales document and the condition.

03

We ask for more or we give a price

When information is missing, we ask you to complete it. With a full set of data we give one amount within 24 working hours.

04

We agree the terms and the collection

Once you accept, we agree the sales document, the transport and the date. We pay by bank transfer after collection.

Your submission

What you send for the valuation

A complete submission means a faster assessment. This data is enough to go straight to an amount.

Data What to write
Brand, model and type MIG/MAG, TIG, MMA, plasma, laser or other welding equipment.
Year of purchase The year and whether you bought the equipment new or used.
Technical condition Working, working with reservations or damaged. If there is a fault, describe the symptoms.
What is in the set Power source, feeder, cooler, torches, cables, cutting torch, pedal, trolley, documents.
Condition of the components Cables, torches, cooler, feeder and cutting torch.
Sales document VAT invoice, margin invoice or a sale and purchase agreement.
Statutory warranty or guarantee Whether you give a 2 year statutory warranty or a guarantee and what it covers.
Photos and the price you expect At least 3 photos and an approximate net or gross amount.
Ownership and location Where the equipment stands and whether it is free of leasing, pledge and dispute.

If you sell as a company, add whether a VAT invoice or a margin invoice is possible. With a private owner we settle on a sale and purchase agreement.

Photos for the valuation

The minimum is 3 photos, ideally from 6 to 10. Take them without tidying up, the real condition says more than a pretty shot.

  • the whole machine from the front
  • the back and both sides
  • the control panel
  • the rating plate
  • connectors, torches, cables and the cutting torch
  • damage, missing parts or errors on the panel

What affects the valuation

The amount depends on more than the brand and the model. What counts is the history of the equipment, how complete the set is and the condition of the components.

Factor How it works
Brand and availability of parts A machine with no parts left on the market has the value of usable scrap.
Technical condition and the fault Damage to the housing lowers the price less than damage to the power electronics.
How complete the set is A machine with a torch, cables and a regulator is worth more than the body alone.
Liquid cooling We check for leaks. A leak on a board can decide the valuation.
Year of purchase and history It matters whether the equipment worked in production, on installation sites or in a workshop.
Documents and price An invoice or an agreement, a statutory warranty and the amount you name all shorten the conversation.

We do not give purchase prices up front, because every machine has a different history. You get the valuation after your submission, and if the condition differs from the description, we say so before the transport.

Which brands are worth submitting

You can submit equipment from various manufacturers. Most often we analyse submissions of the brands used by companies and in production.

Terms

What you get when you sell your equipment

One amount

We give one price and we do not soften it after collection. If the condition differs from the description, we say so before the transport.

Collection all over Poland

Once the price is agreed, we arrange the collection and we cover its cost.

Payment by bank transfer

We pay after collection and after checking that the equipment matches the photos, usually the same or the next working day.

The document is your choice

With a company we settle on a VAT invoice or a margin invoice, with a private owner on a sale and purchase agreement.

Our own service since 2015

That is why we take machines with a fault and incomplete sets.

Trade in when you buy

When you buy another machine from us, we can take the old one into account and lower the invoice.

Questions

The most common questions about buying used welding machines

Do you buy damaged welding machines?

Yes. The valuation depends on the model, how complete the set is, the type of fault and the availability of parts. Our own service handles the repair, which is why many machines go back to work.

How many photos do you have to send?

At least 3 photos, ideally from 6 to 10: the front, the back, both sides, the control panel, the rating plate and the connectors, torches, cables and cutting torch.

Do you need the purchase invoice?

Not always, but a document confirming the origin makes the transaction easier. Write whether the sale will be on a VAT invoice, a margin invoice or an agreement.

Can I name my own price?

Yes. Give the amount you want to get and add whether it is net or gross.

Who arranges the transport and who pays for it?

Once the price is agreed, we arrange the collection at our cost, by pallet transport or with our own vehicle. You can also bring the equipment to Akacjowa 15 in Krotoszyn, from Monday to Friday, from 8 to 16.

When do I get the money?

By bank transfer after collection and after checking that the equipment matches the photos, usually the same or the next working day.

I have several machines or a whole workstation to sell.

Describe each machine separately and add photos of every unit. For a larger batch we come and look at the equipment on site and give a joint valuation with a collection date. You can also send the list of machines to wycena@spawlab.pl.

Does a submission mean an automatic purchase?

No. The submission is the basis for an initial assessment. The decision may call for extra photos, documents, an inspection or a test of the machine.
