Technology details
ShadeTronic® Autopilot, protection that adapts itself
ShadeTronic® is an intelligent system that analyses the brightness of the welding arc in real time and automatically selects the right shade in the range from 5 to 13. You no longer need to adjust the filter by hand when you change the process, the current or the welding position. The system makes sure your eyes always get exactly the shade the moment requires, which reduces the risk of arc flash and eye strain. This means uninterrupted work and uncompromising safety, so you can focus on the quality of the weld rather than on equipment settings.
Optical class 1/1/1/1, a crystal-clear view
The e684 filter offers the highest possible optical classification 1/1/1/1 according to EN379. This means no image distortion (first "1"), no light scatter or haze (second "1"), even darkening across the whole filter surface (third "1") and excellent visibility even at an angle (fourth "1"). This specification gives a clean, clear view of the weld pool and its surroundings without optical defects. A filter in class 1/1/1/1 gives you top optical quality, the basis of precise welding and professional eye protection.
True-Color View filter, a realistic view of your work
Unlike standard filters that give the image a greenish tint, True-Color View technology provides almost natural colour perception. The specially designed UV/IR filter lets through a broader part of the colour spectrum, which greatly improves the visibility of details, red LEDs on equipment and markings on the material. As a result, you have full control over the process, can guide the torch more precisely and spot weld defects faster. The True-Color filter translates directly into more precise work and less eye strain during long tasks.
FadeTronic® technology, smooth filter brightening
Patented FadeTronic® technology changes the way the filter returns to the light state after welding. Instead of a sudden, abrupt brightening, the system gives a smooth, gradual transition from dark to light over an adjustable time from 0.1 to 2.0 seconds. Your eyes can adapt gently to the change in light, which clearly reduces fatigue and discomfort, especially during intensive tack welding or short welding cycles. It protects the health and comfort of your eyes, raises productivity and lets you work longer without feeling tired.
