Precise shade increase by +2.0 DIN
The Green 2.0 lens is made of high-quality polycarbonate with a permanent optical filter built into its structure. It acts as a passive modifier that physically increases every shade of the ADF by an additional +2.0 DIN. This means that a helmet with a range of 8-12 will offer protection in the range of 10-14 once this lens is fitted. It is necessary for processes that produce an extremely bright arc, where standard protection levels may not be enough. The lens lets you match your equipment precisely to a specific welding task. These lenses are an economical way to extend what your helmet can do while keeping your eyes fully protected when working with a very bright arc.
Dual protective function and reliability
Besides changing the shade, the lens also protects the auto-darkening filter (ADF).
