This shell is the foundation of the modular Optrel system and lets you match the equipment to your individual needs. It is fully compatible with many advanced auto-darkening filters, including the e684, vegaview 2.5, e680, e670 and e650. This design allows an economical repair or upgrade of your existing PAPR set without replacing all of its parts. You are free to choose the ADF that best suits your working methods and visual requirements. A modular shell gives you flexibility, savings and long-term usability of your equipment.
Integrated Air Distribution System
The shell is designed as an integral part of the e3000X system, which is reflected in its internal layout. It has a dedicated air duct and a face seal which together form a closed circuit with controlled positive pressure. The air is distributed evenly without irritating the eyes, while giving a noticeable cooling effect on the forehead. The precise integration maintains the top TH3 protection class and prevents the lenses from fogging. It keeps you comfortable and productive, even during welding sessions lasting many hours.

The shell comes with the proven Optrel Comfort headgear, designed for ergonomics and stability. The e3000X system offers three-stage airflow adjustment (up to 240 l/min), so you can adapt the airflow to the conditions and ambient temperature.
