Passive shade modification of +2.0
This inner cover lens is an optical component that works as an additional, constant passive filter. It is made of high-quality polycarbonate with special filter coatings that permanently raise the protection level by +2.0 across the whole working range of the ADF. This means that once fitted, a Panoramaxx helmet with a 4-12 DIN range will effectively work in the 6-14 DIN range. The dark green tint of the filter is deliberate: it gives the specific contrast and visual comfort many experienced welders prefer when working at high currents.
