The SPARTUS® D91 is a compact bench grinder for the tungsten electrodes used in TIG welding. It runs on a single-phase 230V supply.
The grinder puts a precise and efficient point on the tungsten electrode tip to suit the process requirements. Electrodes ground with a SPARTUS® grinder show, among other things, a longer service life and easier arc ignition.
It grinds electrodes in the diameter range 1.6-4.8 mm at angles of 10° to 60°. The built-in depth gauge lets you choose the right grinding depth and makes the process repeatable. You can adjust the position of the electrode relative to the surface of the grinding disc, which greatly extends disc life and directly lowers running costs.
As standard, the grinder comes with a collet for 2.4mm electrodes and a basic grinding disc. Collets for other electrode diameters and diamond discs are available separately.
