Technology details
Filter technology 2.5: balanced performance and clarity
This filter uses proven technology that gives a very bright view in the inactive state at level 2.5. That clarity makes it much easier to prepare the material, position the torch and inspect the weld without lifting the helmet. A bright view means less eye strain and faster auxiliary tasks, which matters over a full working day. The filter strikes a good balance between a bright view and a broad protection range. The result is better visibility and higher efficiency at every stage of the job.
Intelligent ShadeTronic® autopilot
ShadeTronic® is an intelligent system that adjusts the shade level automatically to the intensity of the welding arc. Five independent sensors continuously pass data to a microprocessor, which adjusts the protection level dynamically in the range from 5 to 12. No manual corrections are needed, so the welder can concentrate fully on the task, knowing that the eyes are properly protected whatever the changes in welding current or process. This improves safety as well as comfort and the flow of work.
High optical class 1/1/1/2
The 1/1/1/2 classification according to EN379 indicates very high optical quality of the filter, which is essential in professional work. It means excellent shade uniformity over the whole surface (1), minimal image distortion (1) and no light scattering (1), giving you a clean, sharp view of the weld pool. The fourth digit (2) refers to angle dependence, which is standard in this product class and ensures reliable protection in typical working positions. A filter of this class gives you precise vision and less eye strain during long working hours.
