What diamondspark 550 RC flux-cored wire is used for

diamondspark 550 RC is a seamless high-strength flux-cored wire of the rutile type, alloyed with nickel and manganese, with a yield strength above 550 MPa.

It joins grades such as S355JR, S355J0, S355J2, S450J0, S355N, S460N and S355NL together with their equivalents. The seamless sheath keeps moisture away from the core even after longer storage, and you can weld in all positions, including vertical up and overhead, on working machines, booms, cranes and structures that need a high yield strength.

  • Classification EN ISO: 18276-A T 55 6 Z P M21 1 H5
  • AWS classification: A5.29 / SFA-5.29 E91T1-GM-JH4
  • Shielding gas: M21
  • Diameters: 1.2 mm
  • Approvals: CE

Keep the hydrogen level low: dry consumables, a clean groove and preheating on greater thicknesses. Remove the slag before every following bead, slag left between layers is the most common source of inclusions. Store the wire dry and do not leave an open spool in the feeder overnight, the core takes up moisture.
