Technical details
Technology
The machine runs on modern inverter technology based on IGBT transistors. It gives high efficiency and resistance to interference, and above all a stable, smooth welding arc. The key feature of the MIG 170W is the manual control system. Three separate knobs allow precise setting of the welding voltage, the wire feed speed and the inductance, which gives an experienced user full control over the shape and character of the weld. Welding with self shielded wire (FLUX) removes the need for a gas cylinder, which makes the machine handy for work in the field.
